A WILDLIFE WONDERLAND

A WILDLIFE WONDERLAND
Not just a region, but a lifestyle.
It is said that the name Amazonas is derived from an ancient Greek myth about a nation of warrior women descended from Ares, the God of War. Francisco de Orellana, who explored the area in the 16th century, gave it its name.
Here within the borders of The Yasuni Biosphere Reserve, the ecosystem is a limitless wonder of biodiversity and a global refuge for threatened species.

The Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest is a natural wonder that allows the opportunity to see a diversity of wildlife unknown in other areas of the world. At the same time, it is a surprisingly small part of the region that covers a large part of the north of the South American continent, so fundamental to the well-being of humans for its significant contribution of food, water, medicine and clean air.
